Error message: Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications File not found ____
MS VBA Missing File Error
Description: This issue can happen when an EBM Office Bridge file (e.g. Cube) is opened and can be caused by an Excel application crash while the file was in the process of opening. The technical issue is that the Application.EnableEvents option is set to FALSE when it should be set to TRUE. This isn't something you can change as an end-user.
Solution: Contact EBM Support and reference this article. They'll follow the steps below.
- Option 1: Use the Cube Update content item with the relevant Diligent instance.
- Option 2: Click through the Microsoft VBA messages, Save and reopen the file.
- Click OK in the "File not found" dialog window.
- The Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications - {filename} window is presented. Click on the "X" in the upper right corner of the screen to close the window and select "OK" for the "This command will stop the debugger." prompt.
- Save the file.
- Close the Excel file and repeat steps #1 and #2.
- Reopen the file and the issue should be resolved.
