Process Deadlocked

Error message: Transaction was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Transaction deadlocked due to another process running simultaneously

Description: This may present when attempting to upload data in Excel or via the File Upload Center, or when submitting an administrative change in Diligent, such as rebuilding a hierarchy or adding a calculated account. 

Solution: Give it a moment and try rerunning the process you had attempted. Oftentimes there's another process cooccurring in the background, usually an hourly or daily job that's interfering with your work. We can usually dig into the log and find out what the ETA might be for that cooccurring process to finish, so feel free to reach out.
